“Oatmeal Cookie” Protein Shake
I started to make my post-workout protein shake when I thought
about those yummy Oatmeal Raisin Protein Cookies I recently made (recipe
posted), and I thought “hey, that sounds good”. So here ya go…
1 Cup Almond Milk
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (I used V-Core “Vanilla Bean” from Complete Nutrition
¼ Cup Raw Oats (I used whole wheat)
½ Banana
2 tsp Ground Flaxseed
4 dashes Cinnamon
2-3 dashes Nutmeg (or you can use allspice, but I’m out!)

(Did you know that it's hard for your body to digest the nutrients from non-ground flaxseed? Buy it ground!)
